Details ABS Sensor
The ABS
sensor, also known as wheel rotation sensor or wheel speed sensor, has the
function of capturing, through a magnetized or toothed sound wheel, the speed
and slip information of each wheel. This information is then transmitted to the
ABS electronic control unit, which evaluates the signals and calculates the
allowable slip for each wheel for optimal braking.
ABS sensors
can have either an inductive operating principle or a Hall effect.
